Projects

SENIOR: Social Ethical, and Privacy Needs in ICT for Older People. This project is  a 2 year European Commission “support action” which aims to provide a systematic assessment using dialogue as the key instrument to evaluate the social, ethical and privacy issues involved in ICT and Ageing.  The project involves stakeholders from industry, government, and universities to create a roadmap to 2020 for design and implementation of ethical technologies to “age well in the Information Society”.

Social Intelligence for Tele-Health Care: This project has focused on developing metrics for “social intelligence” and using the concept to increase trust and acceptance of health care technologies among the elderly. There’s not much information on the site, but there are links to numerous papers.
